Dear ladies and gentlemen, colleagues, dear friends,

in view of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Centre for Burns and Reconstructive Surgery at the Košice-Šaca Hospital, we would like to invite you on behalf of the organizing committee to the 10th Central European Burn Congress and the 24th Annual Conference of the SMA  Burn Section, which will take place on September 17-18, 2026 in Košice.  Our congress provides a space to present the most up-to-date knowledge in the field of thermal injury treatment. Currently, the main topics are intensive care to burn patients,  surgical treatment of burns, electrical injuries, news in cell cultivation, in the nursing section care for a pediatric burn patient, burn wound care as well as treatment in a hyperbaric chamber. The event includes a wine tasting in the Tokaj region.
